Malerei und Skulptur – Regina Frimel & Gernot Ehrsam
Diese Ausstellung entfürht den Betrachter zu lateinamerikanischen Bergen – zu typischen Bergspitzen und Strukturen – und den Menschen, eingebettet in ihre Lebensumgebung. Auf ihren Reisen traf Regina Frimel auf Mapuche Indianer, lebte mit ihnen, und bringt diese Betrachtungen in ihre Malerei und Skulpturen ein.
In Kombination zeigt Gernot Egwald Ehrsam malerische Arbeiten und Sinneseindrücke.
Im Rahmen der Ausstellung gibt es ein musikalisches Event mit Gustavo Imusa.

Reise nach Patagonien – Gustavo Imusa
Der argentinische Musiker Gustavo Imusa befindet sich derzeit auf seiner Deutschland-Tournee und bringt den Besuchern das Lebensgefühl in Patagonien näher. Gustavo Imusa entführt seine Gäste auf eine musikalische Reise durch Patagonien. Begleitet wird die landestypische Musik mit Bildern aus Patagonien. Landschaften und Bilder indigener Völker laden ein bestaunt zu werden.

Presentation of the show:
Gustavo Imusa brings a heart’s music from Patagonia/Argentina that expresses the deep connection between soul and earth.
Gustavo Imusa’s show is musical and audiovisual.
In his shows, Imusa acts as a soloist, sometimes accompanied by a guest musician.
Gustavo sings and plays the classical guitar; meanwhile he reproduces sound recordings of basic rhythms with bass and percussion for the/ as accompaniment.
Simultaneously to the interpretation of his songs, he projects videos with images of Patagonia on a screen.
In some of his songs, Imusa plays instruments of the Patagonian aborigines, such as Trutruca, Kultrún and Pifilca.
During the breaks he tells some stories that are related to the songs of the show, these stories are translated into German, English or French by some assistants.

Musical style:
Gustavo Imusa interprets music in the manner of Patagonian folk music from Argentina.
The rhythms of the songs are called Loncomeo, Kaani.
These rhythms are traditional, typical and peculiar to Patagonia and have their origin in the ceremonial music of Patagonia’s natives.
Most of the songs are written by Imusa, but he also includes songs of various Patagonian authors, such as Luís Rosales, H. G. Agüero, Abelardo Epuyen, Valeriano Avilés, Marcelo Berbel and Lito Gutierrez.
The songs he performs are neither shrill nor have a harsh rhythm, they are melodic songs.
The vocal melodies of his songs are simple, soft and sweet and incorporate elements of aboriginal songs of the Patagonian natives.
The texts of Imusa’s songs tell love, the Patagonian landscape and the stories of the people living in Patagonia. Some of the songs deal with the culture and history of the Patagonian aboriginal peoples who are Tehuelches and Mapuches. The texts of the songs are in Argentinean Castellano, in some songs Imusa also uses words of the language of the natives Mapuche, Tehuelche and Shelknam.
